Small dogs have big personalities, they deserve a collar that keeps up. One that fits properly, feels comfortable against delicate skin, and is made to last well beyond the puppy phase.

BOYANDTEDDY collars are lined with vegetable-tanned leather, which makes them naturally soft, free from harsh chemicals, and gentle against a puppy's skin from the very first wear. The leather softens over time, moulding gently to the individual shape of your dog's neck.

Narrow, but not too narrow. At 2cm wide, our extra small (XS) and small (S) collars strike the right balance between delicate proportion and comfortable pressure distribution across the neck.

Puppies grow quickly. Our adjustable collars with several sizing positions offer room to grow and give precision in finding the exact fit.

How to measure your dog for a small or extra small dog collar

Getting the measurement right is everything. Use a soft tape measure and measure at the mid-neck, not too high near the ears and not too low near the shoulders, as this is where the collar will sit in everyday wear. Add 2 cm for comfort: a correctly fitted collar should allow two fingers to slip underneath, snug enough to stay in place but loose enough to be comfortable at rest.

For puppies, always size up slightly. We recommend our extra small (XS) collars for puppies, but check if the collar has enough adjustability to accommodate several months of growth without needing to replace it straight away.
